On occasion, I usually will make some mention about the economy to those around me. I usually make an occasional Facebook post about getting some food shortage, tell my co-workers when on a temp assignment, or when the topic comes up in a one-on-one with someone in my network. I’m not an economist, but I enjoy listen 1410 AM (investment radio) in my car, etc. As a critical thinker I take both sides into account.
Over the past few months, I’ve been paying more attention toward business and other things rather than focusing on the “doom and gloom” of our economic situation. (I mean, when it comes down to it, what are you going to do, right?)
Yesterday, I watch Charles Biderman of TrimTabs (who I think is a genius):
I read the Bob Rinear quote Suze Orman: "up until about 2006 and 7, I thought I had it all figured out, All my advice and my suggestions were good. But it all went horribly wrong. What I didn't take into consideration was that I trusted the people at the top to be giving us the truth. But we found out that the truth wasn't there, and we were in a time of lies and corruption"
I hear Glenn Beck:
6 to 12 months ago it was very mixed messages coming from whoever you chose to believe. And now, one by one, they are all coming to the same message, trouble is around the corner, maybe soon, maybe later, but I don’t see the next five years being like the last 5 years.
In any case, there’s little you can really do about world bankers, and the government. I just relay the counsel from my church: providentliving.org. It isn’t a cure all, but it allows you to sleep at night.
What other opinions have you found about what’s going to happen?
